2025 CDL Minerals Graduate

Innova has graduated from Creative Destruction Lab for a second time… this year from the CDL-Vancouver Minerals stream!

Thank you to the CDL community for the official (and unofficial) support, guidance, mentorship, and “tough love” throughout the year!

Innova's novel technology produces clean synthetic graphite "faster, better, cheaper", and with near zero emissions, compared to incumbent production methods in China that are time-, energy-, cost-, and emissions-intensive, generating up to 20 kilograms of CO2e for every kilogram of synthetic graphite produced.

Innova is on a mission to reduce global emissions by converting harmful methane gas from conventional and renewable natural gas sources, containing high quantities of methane, into clean synthetic graphite and hydrogen.
